 JOB OVERVIEW:

 

Our Marketing Coordinator internship supports the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns. With GROWL, you won't get stuck in the corner filing papers, you'll get in front of clients and work on real-life marketing programs. WHAT YOU’LL learn:

GROWL's Marketing Coordinator Internship will support research and development to create marketing strategies and campaigns for our clients while learning about agency life. In this role, you'll get your hands dirty working on campaigns for GROWL and our clients. Plus, you'll learn a TON of real-world marketing skills. Our marketing interns engage in the following hands-on experiences: 

  • Learning effective marketing strategies and how to implement them
  • Working within advanced marketing and sales software (HubSpot), learning how to develop marketing campaigns, automation events, and more 
  • Developing your own marketing campaigns for GROWL and our clients and executing them; this includes content creation through blogs, emails, and social media
  • Collaborating across our various departments to understand client goals and learn client management skills 
  • Supporting client strategy through market research and marketing reporting (such as building dashboards and analyzing marketing data)
  • Presenting to GROWL and our clients on marketing strategies and campaigns 
  • Supporting the GROWL Inside Sales and Business Development teams to nurture prospects, review pitch decks, engage in sales outreach, etc. 
  • Managing the day-to-day office needs and learning how to work in an office (such as ordering and restocking supplies)

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales software, such as HubSpot, preferred 
  • Prior internship/professional office environment experience preferred but not required
  • Creative thinker with a passion for learning about the marketing industry
  • Understanding of basic marketing concepts and consumer behavior
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of social media and digital marketing efforts with a passion for marketing/social media/SEO/etc.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Business/Marketing student (undergrad in their senior year or recent grad)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

Hours: Part-time, 25-29 hours/week; M-F during regular business hours (8am-5pm)
Pay: $15/hr + academic credit
